FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about our personalized stainless steel mailboxes
Here you will find the most important answers regarding the personalization, engraving, manufacturing, and delivery of our high-quality stainless steel mailboxes. All engravings are carried out in-house with professional laser equipment – quickly, precisely, and permanently.
Which fonts are available?
The following fonts are available in the personalization tool:

- ✔ Paul Grotesk
- ✔ Van Dijk
- ✔ ITC Bauhaus
The maximum number of characters depends on the specific model and the chosen font. You can see the exact limit directly in the personalization tool for each mailbox.
Can special characters or foreign characters be engraved?
As a rule, we can engrave all characters of the German alphabet without any problems. Special characters, umlauts from foreign languages or special symbols may not be engravable, depending on the model and engraving surface.
If an engraving is not technically possible, we will contact you automatically and find a suitable solution together.
Is it possible to use more characters than allowed by the tool?
In many cases, yes. If you need more characters, a special order can be created. Please contact us via our contact form so that we can review your request.
Are emojis or small symbols possible?
That depends on the individual case. We can display many symbols – but not all. For emojis, icons or graphic elements, please submit a request for a special order.
How long does engraving & delivery take?
We guarantee to engrave your mailbox within 24 hours. Shipping is reliable and fast via DHL (within Germany). You will usually receive your personalized mailbox 1–2 business days after placing your order.
Important note for new buildings: Please ensure that your house number or name is visibly displayed for the delivery person – or choose a DHL Packstation as your delivery address.
Can I engrave the street name instead of the [person's] name?
Yes, of course. Simply swap the content of the input fields in the personalization tool. You can freely choose the name, street, house number, or any other label.
I entered the wrong engraving – can I change it?
Please contact us immediately with your order number via the contact form or via WhatsApp
Since we produce very quickly, it is possible that your order is already in the production process. However, we will help you in any case.
Can I use my own fonts?
Yes, for an additional charge we can use custom fonts or individual designs. Please send us an inquiry via our contact form.
Can I order replacement keys?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide individual replacement keys, as each mailbox has a unique locking system.
However, you can order a complete lock set including new keys: View lock set now.
Does laser engraving damage the stainless steel or cause rust?
No. Our laser engraving only removes an extremely fine surface layer.
The stainless steel remains completely rust-free and weather-resistant. The engraving itself is permanent, UV-resistant, and cannot fade.
Do you also ship internationally?
Yes. We ship with our logistics partners DHL and GLS within Germany and to many European countries. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout.
Is mounting hardware included?
Yes, all our mailboxes come with the appropriate screws and anchors for wall mounting.
Can I see an engraving preview?
Yes, during personalization, the tool will show you a preview of your engraving. For special orders, we will gladly send you a digital preview for approval.
What if I don't like the engraving?
We engrave exactly according to your specifications in the personalization tool or after consultation for special requests. As each mailbox is individually personalized, returns due to personal input errors are excluded.

What payment methods do you offer?
We offer secure payment methods such as PayPal, Klarna, credit card, bank transfer, Apple Pay and more. All transactions are encrypted and secure.
Can I have my order delivered to a Packstation?
Yes, DHL Packstations are supported. Please enter the correct postal number and Packstation number during checkout.
How do I care for a stainless steel mailbox?
Simply wipe with a soft cloth and some stainless steel cleaner. Avoid harsh cleaning agents or abrasive sponges.
